FAMU Campuses Impacted by Winter Storm Enzo to Remain Closed on Jan. 24, 2025.

FAMU Campuses to Remain Closed on Friday, Jan. 24

Tallahassee, Fla. – Due to the hazardous road conditions from Winter Storm Enzo, Florida A&M University (FAMU) will remain closed on Friday, Jan. 24, 2025. Normal operations will resume on Monday, Jan. 27, pending any further inclement weather.

Additional details regarding campus operations on Friday, Jan. 24 are as follows:

· The Tallahassee campus, Jacksonville campus, the ERCCD, the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, FAMU Developmental Research School (DRS), Crestview Peaden Campus, and Quincy Extension Farm will be closed for all students, faculty, staff, and non-essential personnel.

· The Café and the Hub on the main campus will be open for residents and meal plan holders from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Friday through Sunday.

· FAMU Campus Tours and the Registered Student Organizational Fair will be canceled.

· The College of Law Orlando, Tampa, Brooksville Farm, and Miami campuses will remain open and operate as normal.

Please exercise caution and avoid travel on the roads and sidewalks, which may accumulate ice overnight and during the early morning hours.
