Student Support Services (Overview)

The Student Support Services Team at FAMU DRS is a collection of professionals who strive to support the academic, social, and emotional needs of our students. Our efforts are focused on the coordination between students, families, and community partners to ensure that ALL students are able to achieve academic and social success. 

 

Our mission is to provide every student with targeted and specialized supports that enable them to be socially responsible, exhibit trust, respect, and integrity, and achieve academic and social success through physically and emotionally safe environments.  

 

Our vision is to provide research and evidence based prevention and intervention, specially designed instruction and instructional supports, and resources aligned to students' specific needs to ensure they have the opportunity to pursue and succeed on their chosen paths.
